TL;DR on Riktor
Riktor is a melee tank who specializes in crowd control. He's a powerful initiator who brings order to the battlefield by locking down targets and pacifying enemies.
Focus on buying cards that increase your resistances and Cooldown Reduction.
Early game, look for opportunities to disrupt the battlefield.
"Riplash" is a skillshot that drags enemies hit straight to Riktor. This is a powerful tool that allows you to isolate unsuspecting victims.
"Electrocute" will deal damage in an area around you which is great when you decide to take on multiple enemies or clear out groups of minions.
"Shock Therapy" will augment your basic attack allowing you to silence the next enemy you hit. Use this to keep your target from escaping, or to interrupt enemy abilities.
And finally, your Ultimate... "Skewer". Riktor unleashes a deadly web of chains that devastates and stuns enemies. A well timed Skewer could disrupt an enemy engagement and turn the tide of battle.
Approach fights with precision, you have a variety of control but that doesn't mean you should use it all at once. Wait for enemies to step out of line and pull them in with "Riplash". Once the enemy team engages use "Skewer" to shut them down while your team picks off your victim. Wait for a key target to begin using their ultimate and pacify them with "Shock Therapy".
No one escapes Riktor

Riktor Overview
Riktor's Strengths
- Great interruption and enemy isolation potential
Riktor's Weaknesses
- High skill cap hero
Riktor's Abilities Analysis
- Whip (Basic Attack)
Riktor whips his chain in a melee attack dealing [ba].
- Base damage is 64.5 and increases by 1.5 each Hero level up to 85.5 at level 15.
- Attack Speed increases with each Hero level
- Ability Card scaling factor is 54.95%.
- Riplash (Alternate Ability)
Get over here!!!
Long range skill shot that pulls an enemy Hero or minion directly to Riktor. Deals Ability Damage on hit, and interrupts any channeled ability.
- Base damage is 75 and increases by 50 each ability level up to 225 at level 4.
- Cost remains constant 110 Mana at all ability levels.
- Cooldown remains constant 14 seconds at all ability levels.
- Riplash range is 1525 at all levels.
- Ability Card scaling factor is 75%.
Riplash is the most recognized Riktor's ability. It requires pretty good aim but in return it can displace and isolate an enemy for you and your team to kill. It will interrupt any ability like G.T.F.O of GRIM.exe (during channeling) or even Howitzer's Make It Rain.
Riplash is a quick-cast ability. It means that the chain will go out right after releasing a button. If you hold the button Riktor will show animation (I'm about to make a Riplash) and you will be able to cancel it. Can be useful when you want to scare your enemy and force them to re-position.
- Shock Therapy (Primary Ability)
Once activated, Riktor's next Whip attack will additional deal Ability Damage, apply slow and silence his target.
- Base damage is 30 and increases by 15 each ability level up to 75 at level 4.
- Base slow effect is 125 and increases by 50 each ability level up to 275 at level 4.
- Base silence effect is 1.25 seconds and increases by 0.25 each ability level up to 2 seconds at level 4.
- Cost remains constant 25 Mana at all ability levels.
- Cooldown remains constant 12 seconds at all ability levels.
- Ability Card scaling factor is 25%.
Is a standard follow up after a successful Riplash to prevent any escape ability from being used. You can even activate it in advance right before your hook to ensure a perfect combo.
- Electrocute (Secondary Ability)
Riktor electrifies the area around him, causing Ability Damage over 5 seconds to nearby enemies.
- Base damage is 100 and increases by 60 each ability level up to 280 at level 4.
- Cost remains constant 55 Mana at all ability levels.
- Cooldown remains constant 12 seconds at all ability levels.
- Ability Card scaling factor is 75%.
Good tool to evaporate minions or enemies if you go into a Damage Dealing Riktor Build. For a Tank-Riktor Build this ability is close to useless - you won't be able to upgrade it to max neither you will invest Card Points to Power cards.
- Skewer (Ultimate Ability)
Riktor targets an area in front of him, shooting a web of chains out in front of him that deal Ability Damage and stun enemies who are hit. After the 1.5 seconds stun, Riktor rips the chains out of his enemies, dealing additional Ability Damage. So total damage is split into two phases.
- Base damage is 200 and increases by 80 each ability level up to 360 at level 3.
- Stun effect remains constant 1.5 seconds at all ability levels.
- Cost remains constant 75 Mana at all ability levels.
- Base cooldown is 105 seconds and decreases by 15 each ability level down to 75 seconds at level 3.
- Ability Card scaling factor is 75%.
Riktor's Deck Considerations
For Riktor it is recommended to go for Power cards if building a fighter or Armor cards and CDR if building a tank.
Critical chance is not going to be an option for Riktor-Tank.

Gameplay with Riktor
Early Game
Lane safely and focus on landing your Riplash precisely. This way you will make it difficult to lane safely for your opponent or can even secure a kill. Since Riktor has quite a low mana pool at the start you might consider taking a Blue Buff.
During team fights your main goal is to displace an enemy Hero by your Riplash or to interrupt Enemies Ultimates: Ventilate, Black Hole or G.T.F.O (while channeling)
